Xbox Scorpio

The Microsoft Xbox is one of the most popular and iconic games systems ever made; both the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One have a special fondness in the hearts of gamers across the globe. Owners of either of these consoles will be delighted with the news that a new Xbox, the Xbox One Scorpio, will be released in 2017.

Release date and Specs

This Microsoft Xbox website advertises this console as the most powerful ever released and the promise of 4G graphics, 4K streaming, 6 terraflops of GPU, and 4K resolution certainly adds weight to this argument. However owners of an Xbox or an Xbox One should not worry that their machine will be left completely behind as Microsoft have assured gamers that they intend to increase their library of Xbox One games and also make some significant imporovements to Xbox Live. Also the Xbox Scorpio is unlikely to be released anytime before December 2017, so gamers have a long time to wait for the new generation of Xbox to be ushered in.

PC Compatibility

The news is that the new Scorpio will not only be the most powerful games console ever but it will also have many features that it shares with a PC, allowing games to migrate from your home computer onto your console and vice versa. Part of the reason it will be able to do this is that Microsoft are launching a serious revamp of Windows 10 in April 2017 with a huge focus on improving the gaming experiences of PC gamers. This Game mode as Microsoft call it will divert all your computer attentuion away from other apps and operating systems towards 100% attention on game-playing capability, making your PC act more like a games console than a home computer. When your PC is set to Game Mode you will also be able to download games from your Xbox Scorpio console from a PC and vice versa

What Games Will Be available?

State of Decay 2 is definetley a game to whet the appetite of gamers in 2017. Like alot of the most hotly anticipated games of 2017 for the Xbox One it is a sequel, others include: Crackdown 3, Halo Wars 2, and Resident Evil 7. Many of the games that will headline the Scorpio release will also be the same games as released on the Xbox One. There will also be many games which you can download from your PC. But what is getting gamers nost excited is the promise of games released exclusively for the Scorpio. Whilst Microsoft haven’t yet made any gaming promises yet we are sure that there will be at least one title to get gamers excited and encourage them to upgrade.

Look forward to an exciting year of gaming, ending on a high note with the release of the Xbox One Scorpio.
